My university service focuses on academic policy guiding graduate and undergraduate education, and on curtaion, management, and promotion of fossil specimens to the research community.
- I served as Director of Graduate Studies in the department, as Member of the Committee for Graduate Education and the Academic Fairness Committee in the College, and as Member of the campus General Education Committee and the Natural and Mathematical Sciences subcommittee.
- I was elected to the university-wide Graduate Faculty Council - a group tasked with guiding policy for graduate curricula and degree requirements - and to its Academic Policy subcommittee.
- I hold curatorial and managerial positions for our IU Paleontology Collections, a repository with more than a million fossil lots collected over 100 years
- I am an inaugural member of the Center for Biological Research Collection, a Center tasked, in part, with 3-D digitization of fossil collections.
